The overall philosophy of Networking NOW and its' members is to give back to the community by inspiring business leaders to excel in their field, to forge ahead with integrity and to pay it forward.

Inspiring our young children of today gives them the opportunity to be the best that they can be.

Junior Achievement of London & District offers a fun approach to basic business skills. "Camp Business Basics" has been designed in response to numerous requests from parents to provide a summer camp where their children between the ages of 8 to 13 years can learn practical skills while having fun! With the use of colourful, fun and age appropriate activities, they teach children the fundamental elements of business all while sparking their entrepreneurial spirit.

Each one-week session gives children a deeper understanding of how business fits into their lives by offering:

an introduction to business
entrepreneurial experience
arts and crafts
outdoor activities
computer experience
field trips
guest speakers
volunteer opportunities

AND memories to last a lifetime!

Last year, business members of Networking NOW raised funds to send seven children from the Merrymount Children’s Centre to Junior Achievement’s "Camp Business Basics". As well, Networking NOW donated $200.00 to the camps' Supply Store so that it could be topped up with fresh supplies. This is where the kids purchase the supplies needed to make their products. Networking NOW also developed and delivered a Networking Workshop to engage the kids with invaluable networking skills.

We are engaging the business community to help us send more children who would otherwise not have an opportunity to attend this summers "Camp Business Basics", and to support other aspects of the camp program (ie. supplies, camp store).

On Thursday, April 28 2011 Networking NOW is inviting you to join us for our first spring "An Evening with Networking NOW", a business networking, dinner and fundraising event being held at the Delta London Armouries. The event will feature wonderful entertainment and music Featuring Jazz Vocalist Denise Pelley, and Comedienne Susan Minns- and of course - some great networking! Proceeds Support Junior Achievements "Camp Business Basics"
